My 'Empties' PostFriday, May 03, 2013
Yay! It's a very happy day today because I can finally post an "empties" post! It takes a long time to collect empty bottles of products before you can make such post that's why it's such a happy day for me! Hehehe... It's my first one too by the way.
It's also rare for me to get to the bottom of the barrel because I am always opening new products so it takes longer for me to finish them, or they expire even before I even get to scrape the bottom. So YAY!
It took me a while to collect all 15 empty products so I am really so excited for this post! Sometimes I was already itching to throw the clutter away but I resisted the urge because one day I know I will be able to make such post. FINALLY!
In no particular order:
These were the fastest products I finished because I clean my brushes regularly. These are the 2 brush cleaners that I used up in about 2 months. Parian Spirit is more accessible to me though and has been a staple in my pro kit for years that I can't switch brands that fast. I use the AF brush cleaner for my personal brushes, and Parian Spirit in my pro kit.
Now this ginormous product took me so long to finish. Probably one of the first beauty products I learned in my whole life. My mom's favorite and with her influence, it became one of my favorite bath buddies!
This polish remover is affordable and can really remove nail lacquer easily, even glittered ones! I love that it doesn't dry my nails and it's gentle on the hands too.
As you may already know, I have been raving about these babies for a while now. I am addicted to the smell and the way it just cleanses my hair is just amazing! I can't describe it! I don't itch and I don't flake with these. Cleansing my hair has never been this fun! I probably finished these in under 2 months!
Now this took me the longest to finish because people would give me fragrances left and right, but this is the one I spray on before going to bed. I love how sweet smelling it is, and for some reason very relaxing. It took me years (yes, YEARS) to finish this one that they have discontinued this already! So sad... I would have loved to have gotten a new bottle again.
It took me a while to finish this product because I didn't use it that often. The oil was way too thick and it doesn't wash off easily, so I would always went back to my usual cleansing oil so it took me more than a year to finally finish the bottle. But honestly? Because of the sunflower oil, this product aided in lightening my dark spots and brightened my skin! I just hope they would make the formula a bit more runny and easier to rinse off.
I love using this lotion specially when my skin gets extremely dry! It doesn't have fragrance and it doesn't have that sticky feeling after putting it all over my body. It's good for my dry thick spots that sometimes appear on different parts of my body!
I bring this body wash when I travel because it smells so nice and it's so fresh! I just bring loofa in my travel kit and I have my complete shower regime just like at home!
I liked this mascara remover but it stings my eyes each time I use it which is weird for an eye product. I have to really wash my eye ball (literally) after I use this. I splash my eyes with water for about a minute so the sting will go away. It serves its purpose though, it can easily remove waterproof mascara in just a single wipe!
I LOVE THIS PRODUCT! For such a small tube it lasted me more than a year. Thank goodness it takes a while for the product to expire as long as you store it properly. I love it! Because of this product, my pimple scars really lightened without making my whole face look white. This product really works!
This is the second brand of BB cream that I've tried ever. It has become one of my favorites because it really matched my skin and it supplies the right amount of coverage. After it gets absorbed by the skin it looks flawless, natural, and dewy.
I liked The Falsies more than I did Magum. The Falsies has become one of my staples as well. I just hope they don't discontinue it!
I hope you enjoyed my "empties" post... It may take me months to post another one so hang tight! I'm working on my next collection of "empties" as we speak! So, what are your "empties"? I'd love to know, comment below the link to your "empties" post!
Thanks for dropping by! HUGS!
