Bye Bye Baggies!Wednesday, August 28, 2013
I have never been the eyebag kinda girl until recently when I have been sleeping late the past few weeks. (In-denial me says: They grew puffy overnight, I swear!) My cousin's visit to Manila bringing me goodies from Shiseido was just perfect timing!
Since this was a gift (my cousin gave me 2 packs), I can't give you the price here in Manila. But in the US, they cost around $62 (more or less PhP2,600) for a box of 12 applications.
Each pack contains 2 moist thin cotton patches. Each pack contains concentrated under-eye treatment sheets that dramatically reduces the appearance of wrinkles. They lighten dark circles too with each single application!
Developed with Shiseido's original pure liquid retinol delivery system which is to penetrate the skin rapidly and help fight dryness, restore elasticity, increase ability to absorb products, battle dark circles, and most importantly get rid of wrinkles!
Since I have only used this once, it is promised to help minimize uneven texture, fine lines and crow's feet (you know... those laugh lines?) in just 15 minutes! Let's see shall we?
And did I mention that these patches contain hydroxyprline? It's a fancy shmancy high-tech form of amino acid that mirrors the skin's natural ability to rebuild and aid in the production of natural collagen.
Each patch fits most face shapes so they fit the undereye area like a glove. They snuggle comfortably right under the eyes it won't budge or fall off (I wrote this while I was wearing the patches!) They smell pleasant too, just like being in a spa so I didn't mind wearing them at all.
Don't worry about leaving them on too long because it only takes 15 minutes for the patches to feel a little bit dried up. That means that the product that was on the patch had been completely absorbed by your baggies.
I am only 33 and I can tell you that I don't have yet crow's feet (at least not yet), but I do have fine lines that have already started forming. You can see them on the photo with blue arrows mocking and pointing at them.
15 minutes later, I took off the patches and my undereyes evened out on darkened areas, and my fine lines have been filled up, not completely but a great improvement. MIRACULOUS! Imagine if you applied this 2-3 times a week?
I applied the undereye patches after I cleansed, toned, and applied a hydrating face mask. After the eye patches, I applied a hydrating anti-aging eye cream. I can make a video on my complete facial routine soon! I will keep you posted.
My lines have reduced (as you can see on the photos), and the dark areas have visibly whitened! I am truly amazed! Too bad I only have 2 patches so I will apply my second one after 2 to 3 days.
What do you think ladies? Is it worth the PhP 2,600 to include in your daily skin care regimen? Let me know your thoughts!
