Poise Makeup Professional Now Available in the Philippines!

Wednesday, September 21, 2016

When my beauty blogger friend, Nikki Tiu of AskMeWhats contacted me about Poise Makeup Professional, I have never heard of this brand before and did a little research about it for myself and try to learn about the brand.

All I know is that Poise Makeup Professional is from the United States, specifically from California, and is now available in the Philippines! For now, you can order their products through their Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/poisemakeupph

They sent me some products to try and I tell you, these products are awesome! Plus, the packaging is just so pro!

Poise Makeup Professional
Makeup Professionals nationwide will love these products because they are highly pigmented, and the packaging is really sleek and pro. Their price points are just right for a professional line, but definitely a bit more expensive than drugstore brands.

Included in the press kit are:
Poise Makeup Professional Mineral Pressed Powder, PhP 1,300
The container is pretty solid and really sturdy, and it's thin and chic. It has a magnet closure that snaps when they come in contact with each other.
Also included in the kit are two blushes: Malibu (L) and Venice (R).
Poise Makeup Professional Mineral Pressed Cheek Color, PhP 850
The shade Malibu reminds me so much of NARS' Orgasm, Elizabeth Arden's Radiance Blush in Sunburst, T. Le Clerc's Theophile Blush in Corail, and Sleek's Blush in Icing Sugar, and Pink Sugar's Sweet Cheeks in Paris Lights. Every brand seems to have this shade nowadays, it being really versatile when it comes to blending really well with tisays or morenas.
Two Mineral Pressed Eye Color in Coco (L) and Luv (R).
Poise Makeup Professional Mineral Pressed Eyecolor, PhP 650
Coco is a rich dark brown eyeshadow that closely resembles MAC's eyeshadow in Embark. While the shade Luv resembles MAC eyeshadow in Shroom. Both are musthaves in my professional makeup kit. These two shades are the mostly used shadows in my makeup kit.
They also have luxe lipsticks available now for sale. They are long-wearing, non-drying and long wearing. From what I see in photos, they look highly pigmented and looks like they are the cream lipsticks type. I will write about more on these lippies on my review nest time.
Poise Makeup Professional Lux Lipstick, PhP 1,000
Though not a fan of lip glosses, I do like the packaging. It looks really sturdy. The packaging reminds me of FS Cosmetics' lip glosses minus the built in mirror and lights.
Poise Makeup Professional Lip Shine, PhP 950
Also available in the brand are lip shines, they have about 4 shades available in their online store now.
Among all the makeup I received from this press kit, this is the one product I was most excited to try because I love lippies! Specially long wearing and matte ones that come in bold or bright colors.
Poise Makeup Professional Liquid Matte Lipstick in 104, PhP 1,250
The product adheres really well on the lips without the dry and sticky feeling on the lips! And the color is just gorgeous! I guess the only problem would be is that it is not completely 100% transfer proof, although it is long lasting, it does leave a mark on the rim of the glass when I drink water.
On my face: Burt's Bees Daisy White Moisturizing Cream, Poise Mineral Pressed Powder in MPP10, K-Palette Lasting 2Way Eyebrow, Poise Mineral Pressed Cheek Color in Malibu, Poise Mineral Pressed Eyecolor in Coco, Eye of Horus Liquid Define in Black, and Poise Liquid Matte in 104.
